I was born in Ardwick, Manchester and have enjoyed a varied career.

I have always experimented with the arts, but did not take up painting seriously until 2012. I now work with all media, cover most subjects and am constantly experimenting to find new ways of working.

Painting gives me great joy, and if I can give those that buy my paintings a part of that joy, then that is enough for me.

There are no messages in my work. I paint as I please. As the writer Nabakov said; "If I delivered messages I would be a postman, not a writer", or in my case, a painter.
